Dustless Hardwood Floor Refinishing on the Upper West Side

We recently completed a residential hardwood floor refinishing project on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for a homeowner who was very sensitive to dust and strong odors.

We used our Galaxy drum sander and Bona Power Drive, both connected to professional HEPA dust extraction, to sand the floors while keeping airborne dust to a minimum. The home stayed remarkably clean throughout the process.

After sanding, we applied an eco-friendly zero-VOC polyurethane that was a great fit for a client who was sensitive to smells and wanted a healthier indoor environment.

The entire project was completed in one day, and once the finish was ready, the floors could be safely walked on without the long downtime that comes with many traditional floor finishing systems.

The homeowner was very happy with how clean the process was, how little odor there was, and how quickly they were able to get back to using their home.
